Patient Participation Group

The Aims of the Patient Participation Group

Our Patient Participation Group (PPG) is very supportive but would welcome new members.

The main aim of the Group is to help us to identify priorities and issues for patients and the practice by carrying out a meaningful patient survey, discussing the results and agreeing changes to services.

We hold 3 or 4 face-to-face meetings each year but are also happy to include 'virtual' members who are willing to be involved by receiving information/surveys and responding by email. We would like to know how we can improve our service to patients and how you perceive our surgery and staff.  We therefore also welcome input from patients who may not be able to attend the meetings but who are willing to participate 'virtually' to help us identify priorities.

It is important that the Patient Participation Group is as representative of our patient list in age, gender, ethnicity, use of services, working patterns, employment status as possible.

Getting Your View

The group would like to contact patients on occasion by email and/or text so that they can obtain the views of the widest group of patients possible. We would like to obtain your email address and mobile phone number to do this. Please complete the Patient Contact Form to provide your consent for this.
